I was born in Uman and moved to Kyiv when I was 14. My father worked in antique appraisal and inspired my love for art. I earned a degree in art history and later worked as a TV editor and screenwriter at Film.ua and Star Media. I have been in cultural journalism since 2015, writing for Forbes, Liga.net, Detector Media, Elle Ukraine, L’Officiel, Vogue, Novoe Vremya, and Babel. I was the editor of Art-Kursiv, an academic journal on contemporary art for three years. I also co-authored the art books 25 Years of Presence and 30 Years of Presence for ArtHuss and worked on artwork attribution for the Goldens auction house.

In 2019 and 2020, I received six journalism awards from PRESSZVANIE and Novamedia. I also managed the PR campaign for Bad Roads, a film by Natalka Vorozhbyt that won at the 2020 Venice Film Festival.

After the full-scale war began, I was forced to leave Ukraine and settled in Barcelona, Spain. I learned Spanish and completed a master’s degree in marketing, PR, and communications at UCJC University. Now, I write about Ukrainians who have pursued their dreams abroad.
