Platform Policy
Editorial Policy of Yellow Blue Business Platform
Yellow Blue Business Platform (YBBP) is an international online platform that brings together Ukrainian businesses and active members of the Ukrainian diaspora worldwide. The YBBP editorial team is not a PR agency: all our colleagues are professional journalists who work solely in the interests of our readers and strictly adhere to journalistic standards.
Funding:
The platform is funded exclusively by private investments.
YBBP never accepts payment from the subjects of its stories for articles, recommendations, or interviews. Likewise, we do not pay those featured in our stories for interviews. Any advertising integrations are arranged on a case-by-case basis and will be appropriately labeled.
Authorship and Editorial Independence:
All YBBP content is the product of authorship and editorial work.
We do not provide interview subjects with materials for approval. Exceptions may be discussed individually by the YBBP editorial team, and the subject must let us know about it prior to the interview.
Fact-Checking:
Before publication, the editorial team may provide the subject with his or her direct quotes used in the article solely for fact-checking purposes — verifying names, figures, dates, and geographical references. This also applies to interviews: fact-checking is limited to these types of details only.
The editorial team does not approve content with subjects for articles, interviews, or social media posts. Since all interviews and comments are deliberately provided by YBBP subjects to our journalists for publication on the YBBP website and social media, and are given voluntarily on the record, the editorial team has full and unequivocal rights to publish all details disclosed by the subject.
Conflict of Interest:
Journalists are required to adhere to professional standards and avoid conflicts of interest. The editorial team commits to disclosing any conflict of interest if it becomes known after the fact.
Photos, Headlines, and Leads:
The editorial team does not approve photos, headlines, or leads (article introductions) with subjects, nor does it modify these elements at their request
Removal of Materials:
The YBBP editorial team does not remove materials or parts of materials at the request of subjects. Exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis.
A subject cannot have a publication withdrawn, even if they dislike the material, feel it does not benefit their business, or consider that it has provoked a negative reaction.
We always publish the real name of the subject of an interview or article. Individuals connected to the subject, such as investors, business partners, or relatives, may remain anonymous if revealing their identity could endanger their safety or is restricted by contractual obligations. Each case is reviewed individually by the YBBP editorial team.
Mutual Respect:
The editorial team treats all subjects of interviews, articles, and podcasts with equal respect. We expect the same respect toward our editorial team from the subjects featured in our materials.
