I was born and raised in Mykolaiv. I decided to become a journalist because I didn’t like the picture of the world around me. Back then, I believed that if I told everyone about the problems, they would be solved immediately. But it turned out the world is more complex than a 15-year-old boy can see.
Still, my desire to work in journalism never went away. I enrolled in the Institute of Journalism at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, and I’ve been working in this field for two years now: during this time, I contributed to the news feed at Detector Media and state news agency Ukrinform, also wrote long-form pieces for Rubryka, Liga.net, and The Counteroffensive.
Currently, I write for YBBP about Ukrainian businesses that impress me with their attention to detail, uniqueness, and originality.
