I’m from Mykolaiv. Years ago, there were no Ukrainian-language schools in our city, and at my school, I was exempt from Ukrainian-language classes. But I had known the language well since childhood and later entered the Faculty of Philology. After graduation, I worked as a radio and TV presenter, progressing from a morning show host to a producer and a head of the morning editorial team.
After the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, I was forced to evacuate from Mykolaiv to France. There, I collaborated with Suspilne, the UkrYouTubeProject team, and the Evacuation.City.
In 2023, in Nancy, I became a moderator of the Ukrainian speaking club of the Yedyni Initiative, and later joined the international community of trainers for adults learning Ukrainian. As a producer, I also organized screenings of Ukrainian documentaries in Lorraine.
