Born and raised in Kryvyi Rih, I spent a long time unsure of what path to take until I became interested in independent journalism at the start of the full-scale war. In the fall of 2022, she enrolled at the Institute of Journalism at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, and just six months later, published her first story in the regional media outlet Pershyi Kryvorizkyi. In the two years since, she has written for Babel, Radio Liberty, UAnimals Media, Rubryka, and contributed news stories for Dzerkalo Tyzhnia.
I love writing about people who inspire and move me. In my spare time, I read books on psychology and study behavioural economics to better understand the people I interview. I’ve completed courses through the Media Development Foundation and Kyiv Media School, where I learned how to talk about trauma, investigate complex topics, and craft meaningful stories.
At Yellow Blue Business Platform, I write interviews and reports from Kyiv, doing what I love most: telling stories of Ukrainians who are building businesses despite the war.
